IITians at IIT Kanpur Bag Placements offers form Companies Registered for Placement Offers
The Campus Placements Secession for the Academic year 2013 – 2014 Started at IIT Kanpur Campus. The IIT Kanpur Placements for year 2013 Started at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur From Decemebr 1st 2012. Several Companies which has been Registered for Placements attend the Placements Drive. Several Students who registered for Placements has Got their Dream Job with Good Pay Package.
As per the Details given by the IIT Kanpur Placements Offers Over 1,000 Students Registered for attending the Placements Secession at IIT Kanpur. About 250 Companies Including Government, Private Companies are attending the Placements at IIT Kanpur.
Last time, Facebook made news offering a Rs 72-lakh annual salary package to an IIT-Kanpur student. On the First Two Days of Placements Secession 20 Companies belonging to Different fields attended the Campus Placements.

The New IITs (IIT Ropar, IIT Patna, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Bhubaneswar and IIT Gandhinagar) which were Established by MHRD in Public Private Partnership Mode has Successfully Completed their First Placements Secession and Entered second Placements Secession. In Order to get the More Pre Placements Offers NEW IITs Started their Placements Secession in the Month of September.
Several big Companies which include Google, Microsoft, Amazon Etc have Registered and offered Average Salary increase up by 15 to 20% to New IITs. Where are Old IITs Like IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi and IIT Guwahati has Recorded a 5 to 10% Increase in salaries.
students of IIT Ropar have got salary offers between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 16 lakh while those at Gandhinagar are getting between Rs 9.5 lakh and Rs 9.9 lakh. The average salary offer at IIT Ropar was Rs 8.32 lakh last year.
Over the last two days, IIT Patna has seen 19 students of its 89-strong batch getting placement at an average package of Rs 11.3 lakh. Last year, average salary at the institute was Rs 7.1 lakh per annum, said Shashank Srivastava, student-in-charge, training & placement cell at IIT Patna. “US and Japan-based companies are coming to visit us for placements which is likely to push the current year’s average package even higher,” he said. So far, the institute has seen a top domestic salary of Rs 16 lakh offered by Microsoft to six students.
