Instructions for Students Answering WBJEE 2013 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

Instructions for Students Answering WBJEE 2013 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) WBJEE 2013 Multiple Choice Questions Instructions are made available for Students. Students who are appearing for WBJEE 2013 Entrance Test are hereby informed to  check the Instructions for Students Answering WBJEE 2013 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

Category 1:
(a). Only one option is correct, correct response will yield one mark.
(b). For each incorrect response, 33.33% of mark (1/3) would be deducted and
(c). For more than one answer indicated against a particular question in the OMR sheet; the said answer will be treated as Incorrect response/answer. Marks will be deducted on the basis of rule enumerated in Clause (b) above.

Category 2:

Category 3:
(a). More than one option may be correct and marking of only all correct options will yield two marks.
(b). For any incorrect response, 33.33% of mark (2/3) would be deducted and
(c). For partial correct response without any incorrect marking:
Marks awarded = 2 X (no of correct responses) / (total no of correct options)

All questions will have to be answered on specially designed machine readable answer sheets WBJEE 2013 OMR Answer Sheet. ANSWERS ARE TO BE MARKED (BUBBLED) USING BLUE/BLACK BALL POINT PEN ONLY ON THE WBJEE 2013 OMR Answer Sheet.  

N.B. It is to be noted carefully that the candidates must fill in as well as bubble in ALL the relevant information including the WBJEE 2013 Question Booklet No at the indicated places on both WBJEE 2013 OMR Answer Sheet and Attendance Sheet during examination.

Guidelines and Instructions for NIFT 2013 Registration / Fill Online Application All the students who are aspiring to appear for NIFT 2013 Entrance Test are hereby informed that NIFT 2013 Admission Department has Published the Guidelines to Fill the NIFT 2013 Application Form. Students who aspires to apply and Appear for NIFT 2013 Entrance Test Can check the Instructions and Process for Filling NIFT 2013 Application Form.

All the candidates who aspires to apply and appear for NIFT 2013 Entrance Test for Admissions to Under Graduate Programs are hereby informed to fill the NIFT 2013 online Application.



NIFT 2013 General Instructions :

Candidates are required to apply online through website: http://applyadmission.net/nift2013 They can access this website also through the ‘Admission 2013 – Apply now!’ banner on the homepage of official website of NIFT (http://www.nift.ac.in)Entries in the application form shall be required to be filled only in English.

Step 1 : Registration ( New Candidates Registration :

New Candidate to visit the website website : http://applyadmission.net/nift2013 and click : Click here to RegisterFill the details to register for any programme. You must have a valid email ID for applying online.Press the button “Submit”. Once the information filled here will not be changed.The confirmation for the registration will also be sent on your email entered.Note: Kindly note the Email-ID and Date of birth as filled by you will be used to login to the website to fill the online application form.

Step 2 : Essencial Documents to be made Ready :

Before starting to fill up the on-line application, keep ready with you the following details / documents / Information

Valid Email ID (the email should be valid for atleast 1 year)Personal detailsEducational qualification detailsCaste / Tribe/ Class certificate (for SC / ST/ OBC candidate)Disability Certificate for Persons with DisabilitiesImage of scanned photograph in jpg / jpeg format and size should not exceed 50 KBA facility to take Printout of the Challan Form in case making payment through UBI Cash challanNet-banking / Debit / Credit Card details in case making online payment.

Step 3 : Registered Candidates Login to Perform following actions to Complete the Process of Filling Online Application Form:

Registered Candidate to visit the website : http://applyadmission.net/nift2013 and login by clicking Login (To Apply Online)
On clicking Login (To Apply Online) page will appear which will have buttons indication 4 actions which are to be completed for

Action 1 : Fill Application

Action 2 : Uploading Image

Action 3 : Make Payment

Action 4 : View Application

Action 1 :  Filling Application

Fill the details on the online application form. Since your eligibility will be screened based on the information furnished by you, you are required to exercise sufficient care to correctly furnish the details of your Qualification, etc.While filling the application form online, please save the information by clicking the button “SAVE”.In case you wish to edit any information you can do that by log in again using Email-ID and Date of birth and after editing the information, make sure to save the information by clicking the button “SAVE”.

Action 2 : Uploading a Image :

Upload Photograph – Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture. Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white background, and has no harsh shadows. If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen. Also, ensure that both ears are visible in the picture. Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face. The image should only be in .jpg or .jpeg format. Size of file should be not be more than 50 kb.  

Action 3: Make Payment : 

There are three options available for payment of admission fee as given below:

Cash ChallanE-Transfer (Net Banking)Debit / Credit Card

On selection of any option click button “Submit”. On clicking button “Submit” the information about Name, Category, Examination fees will be displayed.

NOTE: Once the payment has been made through NetBanking/Debit/Credit Card or Cash Challan has been generated; you will not be allowed to change/modify any information.

Payment through E Transfer (Net Banking) / Debit Card / Credit Card: Keep the NetBanking / Debit Card / Credit Card Details handy. In case you wish to change the category, click button “Home” and then click button “Action 1: Fill Application” so that the application form will be opened. After editing the information, make sure to save the information by clicking the button “SAVE”. Now click button “Home” and then click button “Action 3 : Make Payment” and proceed for the payment.

Payment through Cash Challan: In case payment option selected is Cash Challan then follow the procedure given below:

Select option “Cash Challan” and click button “Submit”Your information about category and amount will be displayed. Now click button “Generate Cash Challan”.In case you wish to change the category, click button “Home” and then click button “Action 1: Fill Application” so that the application form will be opened. After editing the information, make sure to save the information by clicking the button “SAVE”. Now click button “Home” and then click button “Action 3 : Make Payment” and proceed for the payment.Two copies of Cash Challan will be generated.Take print out of both the copies of cash challan and deposit the fees with the challan in any branch of UBI bank on next or subsequent days of filling application form. The list of UBI branches can be seen at https://eremit.unionbankofindia.co.in/livebranch/On payment of the cash, the UBI branch will retain one copy of the challan and return back one copy to the candidate after filling in the transaction number.Candidates are advised to keep with them the Candidate Copy as a token of remittance of fee for future reference.Verify your Payment Receipt Status after 3 days of deposit of fees at UBI branch: A candidate can go to the website: http://applyadmission.net/nift2013 and check the payment status by clicking Login (To Apply Online) using your Email ID and Date of Birth.If you find that the payment made by you is shown as received, your online application form has been submitted. This completes the process of filling the online application form.If you find that the payment made by you is not shown as received, kindly refer your case to NIFT on email id nift@applyadmission.net along with the scan copy of the bank challan.

Action 4 : View Application 

Candidate can view Application by clicking the button “Action 4: View Application” and can take print out of the same for their record.
On correctly following the above steps, you would have completed the application process.

Instructions for the Students attending Option Entry for Supplementary Round Counselling

Instructions for the Students attending Option Entry for Supplementary Round Counselling All the Students who aspires for Admissions to Vacant Seats in Various Engineering Colleges under KCET 2012 are hereby informed that the Karnataka Examination Authority KEA has Published the Important Instructions for Supplementary candidates for Option entry.

You can login to access your account with your Unique Secret Keyword. Read the User Hand Book Instructions Manual and follow all the instructions given there in. For additional information refer KEA website for Allotment Logic method of  Roaster System adopted for Non-Interactive Online Seat Allotment – CET- 2012. Do NOT DISCLOSE the Keyword printed on the Verification Slip and the Password given by you (i.e., candidate) to others. Before entering the Options Online, please check the website for seat matrix which is made available on the KEA website http://kea.kar.nic.in which shows the seats College wise, Course wise and Category wise seats available. Download and print the Option Work Sheet / Detailed Option Work Sheet from KEA website for home work before you enter the Options Online. Discuss with your parents, family and friends. Finalise your priority of  Discipline / College / Course Options, write it down. Be prepared to enter the options online. Enter as many numbers of options as you want to exercise, there is no upper limit for entry of options and a candidate can cross even 1000 options or one can enter all colleges and courses in all discipline in which she / he has got ranks in the order of priority. The schedule for option entry will not be extended for any reasons, therefore all the eligible candidates are advised not to wait till the last minute and date but should key in their options well within the last date and time specified. KEA will not be responsible if a candidate fails to key in his / her options due to any reasons.It will be the responsibility of the candidate to submit and confirm the Online Option Form by himself / herself.  A candidate can enter options for more than one course in one particular college and you can also enter all the courses in all colleges in your order of priority. Enter your valid e-mail ID and mobile number which is mandatory for Option Entry for integration of SMS and e-mail alerts on important activities such as every login, seat allotment etc. SMS alerts will be sent to the candidates from “TD-KEAKAR”  and e-mail messages from keanoreply@nic.in Candidate can modify preferences, add choices, delete choices before confirmation of the Online Option / Preference Form any number of times before final date and time i.e., up to 8.00 pm on 03-10-2012 and click on SAVE button for immediate updation. Please ensure that you logout from the Option Entry Portal by clicking ‘Logout’ after saving and completing option entry in each session. Candidate can take print out at any point of time and any number of times, but the last saved / confirmed Online Options by the candidates will be considered for online seat allotment. Candidate should keep the final printout of the online options after confirmation by the candidates for future reference. After the last date and time is over for entry of online options candidates cannot be permitted to change the options / preferences..
