Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry 2013 Notification Form EligibilityIndian Army 10+2 Tech Entry Scheme (TES) notification 2013 came out recently for the 29th course starting from July 2013.This is a golden opportunity for those of you young souls who secured 70% in PCM in Class-XII -  with this entrance-cum-recruitment exam you can obtain a B. Tech degree and at the same time become a permanent commissioned officer in Indian Army - all for free!. Last date to apply online for the Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry Scheme 2013 is 3rd December (10 AM),2012.What is Indian Army 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry scheme?This is a catch-them-young program of Indian Army. Once if you are selected for Indian Army through this scheme, you are trained for 5-years as below:
Basic Military Training: 1 Year at Officer Training Academy, Gaya.
Technical Training: Total 4 Years.
Phase –I (Pre-Commission Training) – 3 years at CME Pune, MCTE Mhow and MCEME Secunderabad.
Phase-II (Post-Commission Training) – 1 year at CME Pune, MCTE Mhow and MCEME Secunderabad.
On completion of 4 years training you are commissioned as a Lieutenant (Lt.) in Indian Army.  The entire cost of training, including books and reading material, is borne by the Indian Army. You are also provided free clothing and hostel facilities.The Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry Scheme exam is conducted twice every year for two batches - January & July batches, notification for which comes out in May/Jun  & Oct/Nov respectively. So the notification for next Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry scheme i.e. for January 2014 batch is supposed to come out in May/Jun, 2013 .Don’t you think that you have a very good offer through this catch-them-young program of Indian Army? Stipend/Salary for Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry:
On completion of 3 years training, you would be offered stipend of Rs. 21,000/= per month. On completion of 4 years training, as you would be commissioned as a Lieutenant (Lt.) and draw the regular salary of  a Lieutenant (CTC around Rs. 65,000/= per month for a Lieutenant).

Eligibilities for Indian Army 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry scheme:The Eligibilities as given in the above notification are as follows:Min: 16½ years, Max.:19½ years (i.e. DOB not before 1st Jan 1994 and not after 01 Jan 1997)75% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) in Class-XII or its equivalent.(a) Height and Weight. Minimum height - 157 cms with correlated weight as per age.(b) Eye Sight. The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. SSB Interview is held for different Indian defence entrance/recruitment exams such as NDA, CDS etc. So there may be some variance with respect to the Interview that you would actually face for 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry scheme.
