Supreme Court Ordered Gujarat Govt to conduct GUJCET till 2014

Supreme Court to Allow Gujarat Govt to conduct GUJCET till 2014 Supreme All the Students of Gujarat are hereby informed that the The Supreme Court has Ordered  Gujarat State Government to Accept Application forms for Gujarat Common Entrance Test GUJCET 2014.

Students and their Parents has filed a PIL in the Court. the Court has issued Notices for Central Government,  Gujarat Government, CBSE and Medical Council of India The parents of children studying in schools of the city have approached the apex court demanding cancellation of National level common entrance test for medical education in the country.     

The parents had earlier approached Gujarat High Court stating that the common entrance test should have been announced two to three years in advance. MCI announced the test in February 2012 and the test is scheduled for May 5, 2013. The parents claimed that the students did not get enough time to prepare for the exam scheduled for May 2013. It has also been demanded that the students should be admitted on the basis of school board and GUJCET resuts
