JEE Main 2013 Results

JEE Main 2013 Results JEE Main 2013 Results will be made available for the Students. Students who applied and appeared for JEE Main 2013 Entrance Exam can check their Result in the JEE Main Website on 7th May 2013.  Students who are interested can check the JEE Main 2013 Results on the Schedule Dates. 

The score of JEE Main 2013 for all candidates will be declared by 7th May 2013. This score shall comprise of the actual marks obtained in JEE Main 2013 along with the status of those who qualify for appearing in JEE Advanced 2013 provided other conditions of eligibility are met.

Separately, on the basis of score in JEE (Main) and normalised score in Class 12th or other qualifying exam (60% & 40% weightage respectively), separate rank lists will be prepared for admission to B.E./B.Tech. and B.Arch/ B.Planning (in institutions other than IITs). This will be declared on or before 07.07.2013.

JEE (Main) Rank Card indicating All India Rank, State Rank and Category Rank with total marks and marks in each paper will be available on website from 08.07.2013 onwards.

The rank cards will be dispatched to the candidates from 12.07.2013 onwards by ordinary post. The JEE Apex Board or JEE (Main) Secretariat will not be responsible for any consequences that may arise due to the loss of rank card in transit. In case of non-receipt of the rank card within the stipulated period, candidate may apply for duplicate rank card along with the payment of Rs. 50/- (plus postal charges of Rs. 30/- for outstation candidates) through Demand Draft in favour of Secretary, CBSE, payable at Delhi/New Delhi between 01.08.2013 to 31.08.2013. No request for issue of duplicate rank card will be entertained thereafter.

In case of a tie, i.e. when two or more candidates obtain equal marks (by giving 60% weightage to performance in JEE (Main) and 40% weightage to normalised marks in Class 12th or other qualifying examination), inter-se merit of such candidates shall be decided in the following order:

Resolution by marks obtained in Mathematics in JEE (Main) – 2013. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.Resolution by marks obtained in Physics in the JEE (Main) – 2013. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.Resolution by total normalised qualifying exam marks. Candidate obtaining higher normalised marks will be given better rank.Resolution by finding the ratio of positive marks and negative marks. Candidate having higher absolute value of the ratio will be given better rank.If the resolution is not possible after this criterion, candidates will be given the same rank.Resolution by marks obtained in Aptitude Test in Paper-2 in JEE (Main) – 2013. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank.Resolution by marks obtained in Drawing Test in Paper-2 in JEE (Main) – 2013. Candidate obtaining higher marks will be given better rank. Resolution by total normalised qualifying exam marks. Candidates obtaining higher normalised marks will be given better rank.Resolution by finding the ratio of positive marks and negative marks. Candidate having higher absolute value of the ratio will be given better rank.If the resolution is not possible after this criterion, candidates will be given the same rank.

The OMR answer sheets of all the candidates along with the responses captured will be put on JEE (Main) website for verification by the candidates.

All participating institutes that do not use the centralised counselling procedures will prepare their own ranking based on the performance in JEE(Main) and other criteria as decided by them.
