Hence these prep materials can also be used to prepare for Head Constables Exam of all these police forces.With this introduction, let us find what is the Pattern of SSB Head Constables Exam.SSB Head Constables Exam Pattern:If you had gone through the previous blog article of mine, you must have come to know that selection process for the head constables in SSB consists of following seven elaborate process:

1. Documentation
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
4. Written Examination
5. Typing Speed Test
6. Test of Basic Knowledge on Computer Application
7. Final Medical Examinaton
8. Review Medical Examination

In above, all the test are of qualifying nature only and the marks you score in SSB Head Constables Written Exam is the only parameter based on which the final merit list would be prepared.

SSB Head Constables exam consists of a single paper with four test sections, each containing 25 Objective type questions (Multiple Choice Questions), correct answer of which has to be answered in OMR sheet. This 100 mark written exam has to be answered in 2 hours. The subject-wise mark distribution of the SSB Head Constables exams is given in the table at right.Minimum qualifying mark in SSB Head Constables exams is following:
For General, OBC & Ex-Servicemen: 40%
For SC/ST: 35%
