Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry 2013 Notification, Form & Eligibility

Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry Scheme (TES) notification 2013 came out recently for the 29th course starting from July 2013.This is a golden opportunity for those of you young souls who secured 70% in PCM in Class-XII -  with this entrance-cum-recruitment exam you can obtain a B. Tech degree and at the same time become a permanent commissioned officer in Indian Army - all for free!. Last date to apply online for the Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry Scheme 2013 is 3rd December (10 AM),2012.What is Indian Army 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry scheme?This is a catch-them-young program of Indian Army. Once if you are selected for Indian Army through this scheme, you are trained for 5-years as below:
Basic Military Training: 1 Year at Officer Training Academy, Gaya.
Technical Training: Total 4 Years.
Phase –I (Pre-Commission Training) – 3 years at CME Pune, MCTE Mhow and MCEME Secunderabad.
Phase-II (Post-Commission Training) – 1 year at CME Pune, MCTE Mhow and MCEME Secunderabad.
On completion of 4 years training you are commissioned as a Lieutenant (Lt.) in Indian Army.  The entire cost of training, including books and reading material, is borne by the Indian Army. You are also provided free clothing and hostel facilities.The Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry Scheme exam is conducted twice every year for two batches - January & July batches, notification for which comes out in May/Jun  & Oct/Nov respectively. So the notification for next Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry scheme i.e. for January 2014 batch is supposed to come out in May/Jun, 2013 .Don’t you think that you have a very good offer through this catch-them-young program of Indian Army? If you are convinced to join this program than this is the right time to apply.

Stipend/Salary for Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry:
On completion of 3 years training, you would be offered stipend of Rs. 21,000/= per month. On completion of 4 years training, as you would be commissioned as a Lieutenant (Lt.) and draw the regular salary of  a Lieutenant (CTC around Rs. 65,000/= per month for a Lieutenant).

Eligibilities for Indian Army 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry scheme:The Eligibilities as given in the above notification are as follows:Min: 16½ years, Max.:19½ years (i.e. DOB not before 1st Jan 1994 and not after 01 Jan 1997)75% aggregate marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) in Class-XII or its equivalent.(a) Height and Weight. Minimum height - 157 cms with correlated weight as per age.(b) Eye Sight. The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry 2013 application form:You can apply only ONLINE for Indian Army 10+2 Tech Entry scheme.There is no offline application form.How to apply online for Indian Army 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry scheme has been given very clearly in section: “HOW TO APPLY” point 13 of the Notification.Indian Army 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry Selection process:Subsequent to your applications, Indian Army would shortlist the candidates and than the selection would be based on SSB interview scheduled to be held from Feb/Mar 2013 onwards.What is SSB Interview? If you are a novice, you can find some very good information from a previous blog post of mine titled: SSB Interview and how to prepare. SSB Interview is held for different Indian defence entrance/recruitment exams such as NDA, CDS etc. So there may be some variance with respect to the Interview that you would actually face for 10+2 Technical Cadet Entry scheme. Instructions for the Students attending Option Entry for Supplementary Round Counselling

All the Students who aspires for Admissions to Vacant Seats in Various Engineering Colleges under KCET 2012 are hereby informed that the Karnataka Examination Authority KEA has Published the Important Instructions for Supplementary candidates for Option entry.

You can login to access your account with your Unique Secret Keyword. Read the User Hand Book Instructions Manual and follow all the instructions given there in. For additional information refer KEA website for Allotment Logic method of  Roaster System adopted for Non-Interactive Online Seat Allotment – CET- 2012. Do NOT DISCLOSE the Keyword printed on the Verification Slip and the Password given by you (i.e., candidate) to others. Before entering the Options Online, please check the website for seat matrix which is made available on the KEA website http://kea.kar.nic.in which shows the seats College wise, Course wise and Category wise seats available. Download and print the Option Work Sheet / Detailed Option Work Sheet from KEA website for home work before you enter the Options Online. Discuss with your parents, family and friends. Finalise your priority of  Discipline / College / Course Options, write it down. Be prepared to enter the options online. Enter as many numbers of options as you want to exercise, there is no upper limit for entry of options and a candidate can cross even 1000 options or one can enter all colleges and courses in all discipline in which she / he has got ranks in the order of priority. The schedule for option entry will not be extended for any reasons, therefore all the eligible candidates are advised not to wait till the last minute and date but should key in their options well within the last date and time specified. KEA will not be responsible if a candidate fails to key in his / her options due to any reasons.It will be the responsibility of the candidate to submit and confirm the Online Option Form by himself / herself.  A candidate can enter options for more than one course in one particular college and you can also enter all the courses in all colleges in your order of priority. Enter your valid e-mail ID and mobile number which is mandatory for Option Entry for integration of SMS and e-mail alerts on important activities such as every login, seat allotment etc. SMS alerts will be sent to the candidates from “TD-KEAKAR”  and e-mail messages from keanoreply@nic.in Candidate can modify preferences, add choices, delete choices before confirmation of the Online Option / Preference Form any number of times before final date and time i.e., up to 8.00 pm on 03-10-2012 and click on SAVE button for immediate updation. Please ensure that you logout from the Option Entry Portal by clicking ‘Logout’ after saving and completing option entry in each session. Candidate can take print out at any point of time and any number of times, but the last saved / confirmed Online Options by the candidates will be considered for online seat allotment. Candidate should keep the final printout of the online options after confirmation by the candidates for future reference. After the last date and time is over for entry of online options candidates cannot be permitted to change the options / preferences..
