MHRD give Deemed Universities CET (JEE) Freedom

MHRD give Deemed Universities CET (JEE) Freedom - 60% Admissions can be done through Own Entrance Test - 40% to Be Filled on qualifying Board Exam Students who aspires for Admissions in Deemed Universities are hereby informed that they can take Admission in any one of the Two ways i.e. 60% of Seats will be filled through Own Entrance Test and Remaining 40% Seats should be filled based on their Board Marks.

As Per the Details given by the Human Resource Development minister Kapil Sibal in an press meet Replayed that the From Next Academic year on wards Deemed Universities across the country can also provide admissions through their own Entrance Exam other than the JEE Mains. By this decision of HRD ministry the Deemed Universities can conduct their own entrance exam but they have to consider 40% weightage of Board Marks for admission to graduate Courses.

As per the ruling the Deemed Universities can provide admissions for 60% of seats through their Own Entrance Exams or JEE Mains and the remaining 40% of seats should be filled based on 40% or more will be based on Board Marks.
