Students of Oman who are aspiring to appear for JEE Entrance Test for Admissions in IITs are hereby informed that the JEE Organizing Committee has Decided to establish a JEE Test Center in Muscat. This has been Possible due to an Initiative Taken by the Board of Indian Schools in Sultanate of Oman to which Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi, responded favorably by including Muscat as a center for JEE (main) from April 2013 on wards.
Till Now there are only three JEE Test Centers(Dubai, Banrain and Riyadh) in Gulf Countries. Students from Oman had to Travel to India or Other Gulf Countries to appear for Exam. With Muscat became a Center for JEE Exam Students and Parents became happy as they can appear for JEE Entrance Test in Muscat.
Now, the availability of Indian School Muscat ISM as a center for JEE will provide a big fillip to fulfilling the academic aspirations of the students residing in Muscat.
