A non-profit organization established by leading academicians, scientists and media personalities with the aim of promoting science, mathematics and computer education, the Science Olympiad Foundation has been striving for over a decade to promote scientific attitude through innovative activities and use of IT in learning process that involve school students across the country.
In the present times when the world is totally pivoted on science and IT, it is pertinent to think and plan about the future - a future in which the children of the present shall be the leaders of tomorrow. Regular qualitative and quantitative assessment needs to be done at the national level in order to build up the scientific and IT talent pool. It is in this sphere that the role of SOF has been much appreciated over these last few years, so much so that highly reputed organizations like WIPRO, LG, Reliance, Aakash Institute, Vidyalankar Dnyanapeeth Trust, Resonance and MTG Learning Media have volunteered to support SOF's various programmes.
SOF's integrity and commitment towards the fulfillment of its objectives have been lauded by thousand of schooling institutions and millions of students who have directly benefited from its educative, informative and evaluative programmes. For the future SOF has several more innovative programmes lined up, which promise to bring about a sea change in the approach to science, maths and computer education.

Project SOF as a Centre of Excellence that could cater to different schooling institutions in the areas of methodical research, new educational tools, special publications and expert advice.
SPHERE OF ACTIVITIES
All activities of the Foundation invariably aim at making learning an interesting and interactive process in which the learner is actually able to put his / her skills, memory, talent and knowledge to test.For this the Foundation conducts workshops, seminars and science/IT competitions for students of different classes and age groups. Science workshops have already become a great success in several schools. The National Science Olympiad has proved to be a highly motivating and rigorous aptitude testing platform with special and exclusive focus on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mental Ability. The National Cyber Olympiad focuses on logical reasoning, analytical skills and IT.
The International Mathematics Olympiad is a mean to identify and encourage the mathematical creativity of children through problem solving.

Students who want to apply for Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam AEEE 2013 are here by informed that Amrita University Entrance Exam is Going to be Held on Sunday April 21st 2013 10 AM to 1 PM. Students who are interested to apply for Admission to Undergraduate Programs can apply for that.
All Students who want to apply for Amrita University Engineering Entrance Exam for the Academic year 2013 are hereby informed that Amrita AEEE 2013 Applications will be Out in December 2012. So Students who are interested can apply Online / Offline for Amrita Entrance Exam 2013.
Amrita University Engineering Entrance Exam AEEE 2013 Application Forms will be in a format that can be Processes by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). Cost of Amrita AEEE Application is Rs 850/- which covers the Cost of Application Form, University Brochure, Information hand book and Examination Fee. Application fee one paid will not be Refunded.
Students who want to get their Amrita University Admission by Post has to Send a requesting Letter to the Admission Co-ordinators of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore with the Full address Letter and with Demand Draft drawn in the favor of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore.
Students can also get their Applications From the University counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore on producing a demand draft for Rs. 850/- as above.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to fill up the existing vacancies, the vacancies as may occur in future, on temporary basis of the following posts :-

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1.For Post code 01 :- Graduate from recognized University having knowledge of working on computers with sound knowledge of Typing in computers
For Post code 02 :- Graduate and Degree in Library Science from a University.
For Post Code 03 :- Commerce/Economics Graduate from a University.
For Post Code 04:- Graduate from a University having Typing speed 40 words per minute in English and/or 30 words per minute in Hindi.
For Post Code 05 :- Law Graduate from any recognized University having the experience of at least three years practice as a Lawyer.
2. The candidates should possess sound health, good moral character and should not be involved in or related to any criminal case or any type involving moral turpitude.
3. For Post Code 01 to 04 :- The candidates must be above 18 years of age as on the 01.09.2012 but not more than the age of 35 years in case of General Category, 37 years
in case of E.B.C(B.C-I) & B.C(B.C-II) Category, 38 years in case of Female (General, E.B.C. & B.C.) and 40 years in case of S.C./S.T/PH Category.
For Post Code 05 :- The candidates must be above 25 years of age as on the 01.09.2012 but not more than the age of 35 years in case of General Category, 38 years

Science workshops have already become a great success in several schools. The National Science Olympiad has proved to be a highly motivating and rigorous aptitude testing platform with special and exclusive focus on Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mental Ability. The National Cyber Olympiad focuses on logical reasoning, analytical skills and IT.

Apart from these techniques, you can also join some communities like SMAA (Social media addicts association) where you can find people just like you. Initial pricing details for the complete combo of phone + dock (32 GB) suggest something around the $1000 mark. Higher storage variants will inevitably cost you even more dearly. Interestingly, most countries in Asia (India, Japan, Taiwan, UAE, Singapore, Thailand etc.) and Europe (Germany, Finland, Hungary, Italy, Denmark etc.) are supposed to see the Padfone 2 in stores by the end of December, but no US dates have been announced yet.
