ICAR ARS Exam 2012 Notification Form Eligibility

Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) is an an independent recruitment agency which conducts ARS exam (besides others), to recruit posts in the ARS of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

ICAR ARS Scientist vacancies 2012:There are a total of 431 Scientists vacancies in  ICAR ARS Exam 2012. You can find the state-wise ICAR vacancies in page-9 of the ARS Exam 2012 Notification. Salary being offered by ICAR for these Scientist positions through ARS exam is in the Pay Scale of Rs.15,600-39,100 plus research grade pay of Rs.6,000/-. ICAR ARS Scientist Selection Process:Selection process for the Scientist positions through ARS exam in ICAR consists of a two phase written exam (Prelims & Mains), followed by Interview. The ARS Prelims is for screening purpose only and only the marks you score in ARS Mains and Interview will be used for preparing the final merit list.

Eligibility for ICAR ARS Exam:Age Eligibility: (as on 01.08.2012)Min: 21 years, Max. 32 years. Relaxations exist as per Govt. rule for reserved categories as well as for in-service ICAR candidates. You can find these relaxations in page 11/12 of the ARS Exam 2012 Notification.

Academic Eligibility: (as on 31.10.2012)

Minimum Master's degree or equivalent in the concerned subject with specialization. You can find the list of these agricultural subjects/specialization in section "Eligibility qualifications for Entry- level ARS disciplines" in page 18-20 of the ARS Exam 2012 Notification. ICAR ARS Exam 2012 Application form:You can find the ICAR ARS Exam 2012 Application form in last two pages of the Exam Notification.Application Fee is Rs. 500/- (for General / OBC) and Rs. 20/- for others. This ARS exam fee has to be paid in the form of a crossed demand draft in favour of Secretary, ASRB payable at New Delhi.

The last date for applying to ICAR ARS Exam 2012 is 18.12.2012.
