Kate Middleton Pregnant, St. James Palace confirms

A future King or Queen of the England is on the way.

In an announcement St. James palace confirmed that Duchess ‘Kate Middleton’ is pregnant.  Announcement came after Duchess was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in central London after complaint of acute morning sickness. No details have been released so far about her health conditions.Announcement came amid a month long speculations and now has been confirmed St. James Palace on behalf of Kate Middleton and her husband – Prince William of England.

William, second in line to the throne after his father,  and Kate’s website- http://www.dukeandduchessofcambridge.org/ read, “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

Magazines, all around the world, have already started speculations about infant’s name and popular guess is Diana.

Announcement of Kate Middleton’s Pregnancy came more than one and half year after her( Kate Middleton) marriage on April 29, 2011 with William, son of heir to the throne Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana , at Westminster Abbey in London. She has been on pregnancy watch ever since. They had gotten engaged in October 2010.

The statement issued by St. James Palace said -”As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter” .

“Their Royal Highnesses- The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby.  Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news.”

“As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her Royal Highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter,” the statement said. Her pregnancy has not passed the 12 week point and today’s announcement was prompted by the Duchess Catherine’s medical condition.

People were quite enthusiastic in congratulating the royal couple.

Prime Minister- ‘David Cameron’ said that he was delighted by the news that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting a baby. He continued on to wish them a happy future together.

He told BBC “It’s absolutely wonderful news and I’m sure everyone around the country will be celebrating with them tonight.”

President of United States of America- Barack Obama said in a statement, “We extend our congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the welcome news out of London that they are having their first child”.

Leader of labor Party – Ed Miliband tweeted,” Fantastic News for Kate (Kate Middleton), William (Prince William) and  the country. A royal baby is something whole nation will celebrate”.

Public of England has show their enthusiasm and joy to news through social media – facebook and tweeter.

Last month, the duchess had refused to sample peanut paste in a ceremony in Copenhagen, leaving media with the conclusion that she must be pregnant with royal child. Earlier this year in November, Jessica Hay, a former roommate of Kate’s who attended the Royal wedding ceremony, had told the media,“They’re planning to make an announcement in December. William and Kate are focused on starting a family.”

As legislation of England requires, Regardless of child’s gender, he/she will be heir to the throne and thus head of the armed forces, supreme governor of the Church of England and head of the Commonwealth, and subsequently head of state of 16 countries.” The baby is queen’s third great-grandchild. The proposed radical changes in monarchy’s rules of succession have made the sex of the royal infant irrelevant in his/her claim to the British throne.
