Salary offered by MCD for these Primary Teacher positions is in the pay-scale of Rs. 9300+ Grade Pay i.e. Rs. 4200+variable DA (Currently Rs. 23220/- per month).

Age Eligibility: 
Max age: Gen: 30 yrs, SC/ST: 35 yrs., OBC: 33 yrs., PH: 40 yrs.

Educational Qualification Eligibility: 
1.0 Minimum qualification Class-XII (i.e. Senior Secondary (10+2) or intermediate or its equivalent)
2.0 Must have passed Hindi as subject at Secondary Level?
3.0 Must have passed English as subject at Secondary Level/Senior Secondary Level.
4.0 Must have passed Two years Diploma/Certificate course in ETE / JBT or equivalent or B. El.Ed from recognized Institution.
5.0 Must have CTET conducted by CBSE.

Selection Process for MCD Teachers:
Selection for these teacher vacancies in MCD would be made based on marks obtained in academic and professional qualifications, merit list for which will be prepared as per weightage given below:-
Secondary Exam: 25% (All subjects) i.e. (%age of marks obtained) X 0.25
Senior Secondary: 45% (Best five subjects) i.e.(%age of marks obtained) X 0.45
Teacher Training:  30%. i.e.(%age of marks obtained) X 0.30
