Online submission of form has already started from 8th December, 2012 and as per this notification, last date to apply for LIC DSE Recruitment 2012-2013 is 28th December, 2012!This blog post focuses on how to apply for these LIC DSE jobs, while another blog article of mine titled: LIC DSE Exam Pattern, Sample Papers & Books gives you the prep materials for LIC DSE Exam - the sample papers and prep books, so that you can crack the DSE exam easily.But before that, a small primer on what is LIC:Founded in 1956, The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) is the largest life insurance company in India with 2048 branches, 105 divisional offices and 8 zonal offices, employing over 1 million agents. It also operates in 12 other countries, primarily to cater to the needs of Non Resident Indians.A recent Economic Times Brand Equity Survey rated LIC as the No. 1 Service Brand of the Country. At the end of the 3 year term, the contract may be extended further, depending on your performance. The job involves marketing LIC polices – selling new polices as well as servicing existing ones and hence needs extensive travelling.Some people confuse LIC DSE jobs with LIC Agents job – however the two are completely different, the only similarity is the contractual nature of both the jobs and that both markets LIC policies. The eligibility/qualification requirement for LIC agents is far less than LIC DSE jobs. BARC Trainee Recruitment 2012 Notification, Eligibility & Forms

Sc. qualifications while Category-2 Trainee is meant for ITI/Class-XII qualifications. There are 139 trainee vacancies of Category-1 (last date for application:18/12/2012)  & 46 trainee vacancies of Category-2 (last date for application:01.01.2013).This blog post tries to sum up above BARC notification. BARC was founded in 1954 as Atomic Energy Establishment, Trombay (AEET). After the death of its illustrious pioneer Homi J. Bhabha's in 1966, the centre was renamed as the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.BARC is the primary nuclear research centre of India and its scope of research extends diverse fields like nuclear reactor design and installation, fuel fabrication, chemical processing of depleted fuel.
BARC Trainee Vacancies 2012-2013:BARC Trainee Vacancies 2012-2013There are a total of 139 Category-I trainee vacancies with discipline-wise, category-wise break-up as given at left: As you can see. there are 84 engineering vacancies & 55 science vacancies. After the two years training period, Category-I trainees are absorbed as Scientific Assistant (C).

Also, there are a total of 46 Category-II trainee vacancies with category-wise break-up as below:

SC - 02, ST - 05, OBC - 09, UR – 30.

The Category-2 trainee vacancies are for following disciplines:
Chemical Plant Operator, Fitter, Electrical, Electronics.

After the two years training period, Category-II trainees are absorbed as Technician(B/C). During the 2-year training period, BARC offers the trainee following consolidated monthly stipend:
Stipend for Category-I trainee: Rs. 9300/- per month for the 1st year and Rs.10500/- for the 2nd year
Stipend for Category-II trainee:  Rs.6200/=p.m. in the 1st year and Rs.7200/- p.m in the 2nd year. BARC Category-I Trainee Eligibility:Min: 19 yrs, Max: 24 yrs. as on 18/12/2012. Age relaxations exists as per Govt. rule.Educational Qualification Eligibility:For engineering disciplines: Diploma / Licentiate in respective engineering disciplines (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC/B.Sc.) with minimum of 60% marks in Diploma.
For Physics& Chemistry disciplines: Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc.(principal subject: Physics & Chemistry and  Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Biology as subsidiary subjects)
For Computer Science disciplines: Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc (Computer Science).

For the Science disciplines, Maths at HSC (10+2) level is essential.

BARC Category-II Trainee Eligibility:Min: 18 yrs, Max: 22 yrs. as on 01/01/2013. Age relaxations exists as per Govt. rule.Educational Qualification Eligibility:HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects)/SSC with a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate PLUS ITI certificate in Chemical Plant Operation / Fitter / Electrical / Electronics. The ITI/NCTVT qualification should be either of the following :-
1. ITI/NCTVT of 2 years duration OR
2. ITI of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.

Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can also apply for the post of Chemical Plant Operator. Candidates applying for Cat-II - Fitter may also be considered for Chemical Plant Operator.

BARC Stipendiary Trainee Selection process:

The selection process for BARC Stipendiary Trainee consists of a written test followed by Interview. The written exam (to be conducted at Mysore) consist of a an 1-hour Objective type paper. The written test mark is for screening purpose only and the marks of Interview would only be counted for final selection.

BARC written exam for Category-I Trainee will be conducted at Mumbai and the syllabus for the BARC trainee exam will be based on subjects at Diploma/B.Sc. level as the case may be.

While the BARC written exam for Category-II Trainee will be conducted at Mysore and the syllabus for the  exam will be based on subjects at SSC/HSC/ITI level.

WBJEE 2013 Application Forms – Submission Process

WBJEE 2013 Application Forms - Submission Procedure - Important Dates WBJEE 2013 applications will be made available for Students who aspires for Admission to Undergraduate Engineering and Medical Courses in Universities/ Colleges in West Bengal are hereby Informed that the Joint Entrance Exam Board has announced the Schedule for WBJEE 2013.

As Per the Schedule WBJEE 2013 Entrance Test for Admissions to Under Graduate Engineering, Medical and other Courses will be Held on Sunday April 21st 2013. Students who are interested to apply for WBJEE JEM 2013 Can Apply for That in any one of the following ways. .

WBJEE 2013 Online Application starts from : Friday, 11-01-2013

Last Date for Filling WBJEE 2013 Online Application  : Saturday, 16-02-2013.

WBJEE 2013 Application form to filled up ONLINE at the portal of the Board http://www.wbjeeb.nic.in/

Last date of receipt of Confirmation Report with necessary credentials: Thursday, 28-03-2013.

Students who want to apply for WBJEE 2013 Entrance Exam can get the WBJEE 2013 Application KIT From  Friday, 11-01-2013 and will continue till Saturday, 16-02-2013  the United Bank of India Branches in the State. Click Here for : List of Bank Branches that sale WBJEE 2013 Applications.

The WBJEE 2013 Application Kit may also be obtained by Post from the Boards Office on application with an additional fee of Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred) only. The total amount (i.e., cost of application form plus Rs.200/-) has to be paid by Demand Draft drawn in favour of WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATIONS BOARD payable at Howrah/Kolkata.

The last date for making request for WBJEE 2013 Application-kit by post is 06.01.2013 and the last date for receipt of  completed application form by Speed Post only is 28-03-2013. Request for WBJEE JE Application form 2013 received beyond the stipulated date as mentioned above will not be entertained and the Board shall not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever for such non-receipt arising out of postal delay.

The WBJEE 2013 Application Kit may also be obtained from the Boards Office only with payment of actual cost of the form plus late fee of Rs. 300/- (Rupees Three hundred). In that case, the whole amount is to be paid through a Bank Draft to be drawn in favour of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board payable at Kolkata / Howrah. The Application Form once purchased cannot be returned or replaced

NDA 2013 Exam Notification Forms Eligibility

NDA 2013 Exam Notification Forms EligibilityNotification for NDA & NA 2013 exam  has been published by UPSC today through Exam Notice: 03/2013-NDA-I for admission to NDA (National Defence Academy) & NA (Naval Academy). As per the notification, online submission of form has already began and the last date for  submission of NDA-I 2013 form is 21st January 2013. The exam would be conducted on 14th April, 2013 (Sunday). This notification has been published in major national/regional dailies as well as in Employment News dated 22nd December, 2012.

Through this defence entrance exam, you can get admission to one of the two defence institutes:

1.0 NDA: 3-year course after passing which you get B. Sc./ B.Sc. (Computer) / BA degree from JNU, Delhi and commissioned in Army/Air Force/ Navy forces. 2.0 NA:  4-year B. Tech. course after passing which you get commissioned in the executive or technical branches of the Indian Navy.

NDA 2012 ExamWhile this blog post focuses on Eligibility & application form processes of NDA, in another blog article titled  NDA exam prep material I have provided you all the study materials required to prepare for this exam - the sample papers, books, SSB Interview prep material etc.

Why this exam is called NDA (I)? Because NDA exam is held twice every year by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) - Exam (I) in mid-April and Exam (II) in mid-August. My previous blog post titled: NDA Exam – what & why? introduces you to NDA exam and why you should appear in it. With above primer, let us find what are the important dates/schedule of NDA exam –I 2013.Important dates for NDA-I 2013:
Date of notification: 22nd December, 2012.
Last date of submission of  NDA-I 2013 form: 21st January 2013.
Date of NDA-I 2013 exam: 14th April, 2013 (Sunday).
Likely date of NDA-I 2013 result: July, 2013.
Date of  SSB interview (after NDA exam): September-October 2013. NDA exam is going to be held in following 41 city/towns all over India:
Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Dharwad, Dispur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jorhat, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji(Goa), Patna, Portblair, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur, Vishakhapatnam.
Branch-wise vacancies for NDA-I 2013 exam:
Total vacancies to be filled through NDA-I 2013 is 355 (NDA: 300, Indian Naval Academy: 55).
Branch-wise vacancies for NDA is as follows:
Army: 195, Air Force: 66, Navy: 39. Eligibility for NDA Exam:
Age eligibility for NDA exam:Min.: 16½, M - 19 years. (born not earlier than 2nd January, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 1997)
Also only MALE, UNMARRIED candidates are allowed to appear in NDA exam. Academic eligibility for NDA exam:You need to pass Class-XII or equivalent examination for Army wings of NDA  (Physics & Maths in Class-XII is not a must.)However for applying to the Air Force/Navy wings of NDA and for applying to Naval Academy, you must have studied Physics & Maths in your Class-XII. If you are currently studying in Class-XII, you can also appear in the exam, provided you can provide the proof passing the exam by 5th December, 2013.On top of above age and academic eligibility, you also need to have the minimum physical standard as required by UPSC.

NDA-I Exam 2013 Online Application Form:
You can apply only online for NDA 2013 exam. There is no offline application form.

In short, NDA 2013 Online form has two parts - Part-I & Part-II.
Option for NDA 2013 Online FormPart-I Registration process has 5 (FIVE) pages:
Page-1: Personal Information including Name , DOB , Father s name etc.
Page-2: Choose Examination Centre.
Page-3: Give preferences for Army Navy Air Force and Naval Academy.
Page-4: Displays all the data entered by you. It has option for you to edit these data.
Page-5: Displays the system generated unique Registration ID.

Part-II Registration Comprises Three Steps:
1. Fee Payment.
2. Uploading Of Photograph.
3. Uploading Of Signature.

NDA-I Exam 2013 Online FormAdmit Card for NDA-I 2013 exam:
You have to download your admit card for NDA-I 2013 Exam from UPSC website, which would be available from 3 weeks before the exam date. If you have problem finding your admit card/ call letter, please contact UPSC either in person or over phone 011-23385271/011-23381125/011-23098543 on working days between 10.00 hrs. and 17.00 hrs. Most probably e-Admit card for NDA-I 2013 would be available in this webpage.

Some of you may be appearing in next NDA exam ii.e. NDA-II 2013 Exam. Following information is therefore given to you just to help you make preparation for NDA-II, 2013 exam..

NDA-II 2013 Exam dates & Schedule:
Date of notification & Form for NDA-II 2013 Exam : 04.05.2013.
Last date of submission of  NDA-II 2013 form: 03.06.2013   (Monday).Date of NDA-II 2013 exam: 11.08.2013 (Sunday)

AFCAT 2013 Notification Forms Eligibility

AFCAT 2013 Notification Forms EligibilityAir Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT-2013) Notification has been published last week in major national dailies as well as in Employment News. While the submission of form has started from 10th December, 2013, the last date to apply for AFCAT 2013 is 8th January, 2013. AFCAT 2013  written exam would be conducted on 24th February, 2013. But before that let us know about AFCAT in brief.

What is AFCAT?
AFCAT is a common recruitment exam conducted by IAF (Indian Air Force) every year in the month of February/March & July/August, exam notification for which comes out in the months of December/January and June/July every year. While the February/March exam is called AFCAT-01 (as it is the first exam in the year), the July/August AFCAT exam is called AFCAT-02.

It is called a Common Admission Test as it is conducted for all three branches of Indian Air Force. i.e. Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branches in a single exam.


AFCAT training course duration is: for Flying & Technical branch 74 weeks (1 and 1/2 year) and for Ground Duty branch 52 weeks (1 year) in Air Force training establishments. AFCAT is conducted for SSC (Short Service Commission) in Flying Branch and both SSC as well as PSC (Permanent Service Commission) for Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branches.
Salary offered post AFCAT, after training period:
After successful completion of the training, you are commissioned as a Flying Officer with following approximate gross salaries:
Flying Branch: Rs. 63,694/=
Technical Branch: Rs. 54,944/=
Ground Duty Branch: Rs. 52,444/= You are also entitled to get other benefits like free furnished accommodation, rations, medical benefits, LTC etc.
Eligibilities for AFCAT:

Selection process for AFCAT:
At first you have to appear in AFCAT exam to be conducted on 24th February, 2013  On being selected in AFCAT, you would be called for AFSB (Air Force Selection Board) Interview. On being selected in Stage-1 & 2 of AFSB Interview, if you had appeared for flying branch or technical branch you have to undergo one more written test- PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) for flying branch and EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) for technical branch. There is no further written test for Ground Duty Branches after Stage-1 & 2 of AFSB Interview.

BARC Trainee Vacancies 2012-2013:BARC Trainee Vacancies 2012-2013There are a total of 139 Category-I trainee vacancies with discipline-wise, category-wise break-up as given at left: As you can see. there are 84 engineering vacancies & 55 science vacancies. After the two years training period, Category-I trainees are absorbed as Scientific Assistant (C).

Also, there are a total of 46 Category-II trainee vacancies with category-wise break-up as below:

SC - 02, ST - 05, OBC - 09, UR – 30.

The Category-2 trainee vacancies are for following disciplines:
Chemical Plant Operator, Fitter, Electrical, Electronics.

After the two years training period, Category-II trainees are absorbed as Technician(B/C). During the 2-year training period, BARC offers the trainee following consolidated monthly stipend:
Stipend for Category-I trainee: Rs. 9300/- per month for the 1st year and Rs.10500/- for the 2nd year
Stipend for Category-II trainee:  Rs.6200/=p.m. in the 1st year and Rs.7200/- p.m in the 2nd year. BARC Category-I Trainee Eligibility:Min: 19 yrs, Max: 24 yrs. as on 18/12/2012. Age relaxations exists as per Govt. rule.Educational Qualification Eligibility:For engineering disciplines: Diploma / Licentiate in respective engineering disciplines (3 years after SSC or 2 years after HSC/B.Sc.) with minimum of 60% marks in Diploma.
For Physics& Chemistry disciplines: Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc.(principal subject: Physics & Chemistry and  Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Biology as subsidiary subjects)
For Computer Science disciplines: Minimum 60% marks in B.Sc (Computer Science).

For the Science disciplines, Maths at HSC (10+2) level is essential.

BARC Category-II Trainee Eligibility:Min: 18 yrs, Max: 22 yrs. as on 01/01/2013. Age relaxations exists as per Govt. rule.Educational Qualification Eligibility:HSC (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects)/SSC with a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate PLUS ITI certificate in Chemical Plant Operation / Fitter / Electrical / Electronics. The ITI/NCTVT qualification should be either of the following :-
1. ITI/NCTVT of 2 years duration OR
2. ITI of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.

Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can also apply for the post of Chemical Plant Operator. Candidates applying for Cat-II - Fitter may also be considered for Chemical Plant Operator.

BARC Stipendiary Trainee Selection process:

The selection process for BARC Stipendiary Trainee consists of a written test followed by Interview. The written exam (to be conducted at Mysore) consist of a an 1-hour Objective type paper. The written test mark is for screening purpose only and the marks of Interview would only be counted for final selection.

BARC written exam for Category-I Trainee will be conducted at Mumbai and the syllabus for the BARC trainee exam will be based on subjects at Diploma/B.Sc. level as the case may be.

While the BARC written exam for Category-II Trainee will be conducted at Mysore and the syllabus for the  exam will be based on subjects at SSC/HSC/ITI level.

Amrita University Engineering Entrance Exam AEEE 2013 Application Forms will be in a format that can be Processes by Optical Mark Reader (OMR). Cost of Amrita AEEE Application is Rs 850/-  which covers the Cost of Application Form,  University Brochure, Information hand book and Examination FeeApplication fee one paid will not be Refunded.

Students who want to get their Amrita University Admission by Post has to Send a requesting Letter to the Admission Co-ordinators of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore with the Full address Letter and with Demand Draft  drawn in the favor of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore.

Students can also get their Applications From the University counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore on producing a demand draft for Rs. 850/- as above.

Students can also Apply Online through website and submit the application printout in an A4 sheet along with a demand draft for Rs. 850/- and a passport size colour photograph affixed in the specified location.

Jaipur Metro Recruitment 2012 Notification, Eligibility & Forms

JMRC Jaipur Metro Recruitment 2012 Notification Eligibility FormsJaipur Metro Rail Corporation (JMRC) recruitment notification 2012 has just been published for a total vacancy of 400 positions – out of which 102 are for JE (Junior Engineer) and 183 are for Technicians, besides 115 other positions. As per the notification, last date to submit the online form for Jaipur Metro Recruitment 2012 is 30th October, 2012 while the written exam would be conducted on 9th & 23rd December, 2012.

But first let us know briefly about JMRC as an organisation.

What is JMRC
Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (JMRC) is a very nascent organisation, incorporated on 1st January 2010 as a Govt. of Rajasthan public sector company. It has been established to implement the 35.166 KM long Jaipur Metro Rail Project in two phases:

Phase-I: East-West Corridor (Mansarovar to Badi Chaupar), which is 12.067 KM long.
Phase-II: North-South Corridor (Ambabari to Sitapura), which is 32.099 KM long.

JMRC at present is executing Phase-1A of the project (i.e. 9.718 KM Metro rail from Mansarover to Chandpole) which is set to be completed within 30.06.2013 . For this phase of the project (i.e. Phase-I-A) JMRC is taking the expertise of DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation). So far, DMRC has completed 60% civil works of this part.

Jaipur Metro JMRC Vacancy 2012
Jaipur Metro JMRC Vacancy 2012As said before, there are total 400 vacancies in JMRC Recruitment 2012: 102 JE (Junior Engineer), 183 Technicians and 115 other positions. You can find the post-wise vacancies in JMRC as given in the table at right.

Jaipur Metro Salary:
JMRC is offering following fixed salary for 2-year probation period:
Station Controller/ Train Operator: Rs. 10,000/=
Customer Relations Assistant Rs. 8950/=
Maintainer Rs. 6100/=

Subsequent to the successful completion of the probation period, JMRC is offering following initial salary:
Station Controller/ Train Operator: Rs. 21500 (Pay-Scale: 9300-34800)
Customer Relations Assistant Rs. 19212/= (Pay-Scale: 5200-20200)
Maintainer Rs. 13038/= (Pay-Scale: 5200-20200)

Selection Process for Jaipur Metro Recruitment 2012:
Position-wise selection process for Jaipur Metro Recruitment is given below:
Station Controller/ Train Operator: Written Test, Psychometric Test, Interview & Medical Fitness Test.
Junior Engineers: Written Test & Medical Fitness Test.
Customer Relations Assistant: Written Test, Interview & Medical Fitness Test
Maintainers:Written Test & Medical Fitness Test.

Jaipur Metro Recruitment 2012 Exam Centres:
Jaipur Metro Exam 2012 would be conducted in exam centres located at Jaipur, Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, Kota, Sikar and Udaipur.

Jaipur Metro Recruitment 2012 Eligibility:
Age Eligibility: (as on 01.01.2013)
Min: 21 years & Max: 35 years.
For "Maintainers" only,  minimum age: 18 years.

Academic Qualification Eligibility: (as on 30th October, 2012.)
Station Controller/ Train Operator: Minimum 50% in Graduation in any discipline.
Junior Engineers: Minimum 50% in Engineering  Degree in the relevant disciplines.
Customer Relations Assistant: Minimum 50% in Graduation in any discipline.
Maintainers: National Trade Certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant Trade or equivalent certificate, issued by NCVT/ DG E&T/ Ministry of Labour & Employment/ Government of India, pursuant to a course of minimum two years’ duration OR State Trade Certificate in the relevant Trade or equivalent certificate, issued by SCVT, pursuant to a course of minimum two years’ duration.

Last date for Submission of forms: 30.10.12
Last date for depositing Fee in SBI: 01.11.12
Dates for checking payment receipt status: 4.11.12 to 6.11.12
Date for downloading Admit Card: 17.11.12
Date for Written Test: 9.12.12 for Station Controller/ Train Operator & 23.12.12 for others.
Date for Result: 31.12.12 for Station Controller/ Train Operator & 14.01.13 for others.

Jaipur Metro Exam 2012 Admit Card:
Your admit card for written test will NOT be sent by post or email. You will have to download the Jaipur Metro Exam 2012 Admit Card from this JMRC Recruitment website.
